In the talk this last weekend, we taught regarding spiritual maturity. Hebrews 6:1 says, Therefore, let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death,] and of faith in God.
Many believers have stunted their spiritual growth because God brings us to a point of action, and we balk at it….and the more we balk the more we stay stunted and stuck. Last weekend I gave Five Marks of Spiritual Maturity: They were not in the message notes, and several said I went too fast, so here they are again:
- A mature person is positive under pressure….
- A mature person is sensitive to people exemplifying the fruit of the Spirit…
- A mature person has mastered his mouth…
- A mature person is a peacemaker, not a troublemaker…
- A mature person is patient and prayerful…
God wants all of us to grow….so my challenge to you today is work on your “Yes” to the Lord. Say “yes” often, say “yes” quickly and watch how fast your levels of maturity take off.

Our Giving Surpassed the $3 Million Mark
Through your faithfulness and the help of the Lord our Building Fund Giving passed the three-million-dollar mark. To date the balance of our Building Fund is $3,017,953.48. Yay, God! Lord You are good. Our target will be somewhere around the $6 million dollar mark. Through God’s blessing and our faithfulness it will happen.
Work is still underway looking at getting sewer and power to the property and permitting processes to start the work have begun.
