Pastor Paul
Who has influenced you toward Christ and faith? Take a moment to thank God for them! Would you be where you are without their example, love, guidance, and teaching?
Who are you influencing for the gospel? Who are you pouring yourself into? Whose life are you impacting? Paul instructed Timothy, "And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others" (2 Timothy 2:2). Essentially, Paul urged Timothy to pass on what he had learned and experienced to others.
If God has shown you someone to disciple, take confidence and nurture them in the faith, helping them grow. If you haven't identified such a person yet, ask God to reveal them to you—the one in whose life you can sow the seeds of the gospel.
God delights in answering this prayer because investing in others' discipleship is key to your own personal spiritual growth.
