We have been working on bringing you a weekly devotional. You might see them popping up on Facebook or as text messages.

I am including this week’s devotional here:

Devotional:

Worry and worship both engage our imagination, but in vastly different directions. When we worry, we're using our imagination to picture worst-case scenarios and potential problems. But what if we could redirect that same mental energy toward worship? The same capacity that makes us excellent worriers can make us powerful worshipers when properly channeled. This isn't about denying real concerns but about choosing where to focus our mental and emotional energy. This week, try to catch yourself when you're worrying and consciously redirect those thoughts into worship.

Bible Verse

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." - Philippians 4:6

Reflection Question:

What specific worries can you intentionally transform into worship today?

Quote:

"Worriers make the best worshipers. Do you know why? Once a worrier is able to understand that worrying is the wrong use of their imagination, then if they can flip that imagination toward worship, toward God and who He is, they just make the best worshipers."

Prayer:

"Father, help me redirect my tendency to worry into an opportunity for worship. Transform my anxious thoughts into praise. Thank you for the ability to choose worship over worry. Amen."

We are so grateful for the continuing generosity toward our relocation and building. It is quiet and cold, but the wheels toward relocation are still happening. The total received into the Building Fund is $3,578,649. Total paid out $309,507. Our present balance $3,169,142.

As we look toward the future let us consider the Lord's promise in, Galatians 6:9, Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. God will make a way!

God can do this through us and for us, ONE MIRACLE AT A TIME.
