Pastor’s Pen
When Apple introduced the iMac computer their marketing slogan was “Imagine the Possibilities.” If you do a Google search on that slogan you will find that it has moved far beyond Apple. “Imagine the Possibilities” describes everything from life coaching to Samsung, to NASA. A good marketing slogan? Yes, but God told his people to “Imagine the Possibilities long before Apple was invented. Not long after the first apple was on a fruit tree God began talking to His creations about imagining what was possible through God. Several passages come to mind but, in Genesis 15:5 God took Abraham outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be. It was as if God was inviting him to imagine the possibilities! The Apostle Paul talked about this very thing in Ephesians 3:20, Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.
Grace Fellowship I want to invite you to join me in Imagining the Possibilities! As we discover community and discover how to use our gifts for His glory there are unbelievable possibilities that await us. As we walk by faith and not by sight, great things are in store. As we are open to all that God wants to do. My conviction is greater than ever that God is putting together a team to do something great for Him in Buffalo! Just imagine the possibilities.
One more thing about an apple (not the company, but the fruit)… You can count the seeds in an apple but only God can count the apples in a seed!
Can’t wait to see you this weekend.
