Pastor’s Pen
1 Peter 5:7 says, Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. This is a great verse for the Christmas season. While Andy Williams croons it is a “most wonderful time of year” it is not necessarily an easy time of year for everyone.
I have learned that the enemy loves to expand our busyness to increase our cares. If he can increase our cares, he is planting a seed or seeds that will compete with the Word of God and our sense of the presence of God in our lives.
It is not a faithless Christmas garden, it just has seeds of doubt, discouragement, and unbelief planted alongside the promises and blessings of God that steal nutrients from the fruit the good seed seeks to produce.

Seed Offering Report
65,052 seeds of faith were planted this last weekend, with more to come (it’s not too late to plant). So $65,052 is added to our Building Fund of $324,911. Making a total of $389,963. This is a great start after the land purchase is complete. Most of all be in prayer for the Lord’s plan and His aiming.
GF Missions
GF is planning our next missions trip to the Dominican Republic with Casa por Cristo. The trip will be on December 27, 2021, and the cost is $1010 plus airfare and the Covid test.
