Pastor's Pen
From the desk of
Pastor Stephanie
Everyone of us has a sphere of influence. That sphere may include one or two people. It might be a dozen, might be a hundred. Doesn’t matter. But there is a sphere of influence that you have and God has given that to you and He wants you to invade that sphere with the reality of who He is, and what He can do and what His purpose is. – Dave Limmer
Ephesians 4:11-16 (NKJV) – And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,… 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
We may not feel like we have a gift or that we do anything necessary in the Body of Christ but this passage makes it clear that we do. The Church joined and knit together by what EVERY joint supplies is at its best when EVERY part does its share. This is what causes growth of the body.
Your gift may never operate inside the walls of a church and you may not think your gift is “ministry” but your gift is necessary within your sphere of influence to allow God to invade that space. You may be the only representative of Jesus in your sphere. That sphere is a place for you to share your testimony and let people see how God has transformed you. It’s a place for people to encounter God through you. It’s a place for you to speak the truth in love and draw others to the love of Jesus.
Stop thinking that God gave gifts to everyone but you or that your gift doesn’t matter and start asking God how to use your gift to allow Him to invade that space!

We are so grateful for the continuing generosity toward our relocation and building. It is quiet and cold, but the wheels toward relocation are still happening. The total received into the Building Fund is $3,578,649. Total paid out $309,507. Our present balance $3,169,142.
As we look toward the future let us consider the Lord's promise in, Galatians 6:9, Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. God will make a way!
God can do this through us and for us, ONE MIRACLE AT A TIME.
