The other evening as the elder team met, we spent time recounting blessings and speaking of the goodness of God over Grace Fellowship and over our relocation endeavor. There were many more blessings than all of us even knew of. As we started focusing in on blessings, favor, and goodness it was not a quick process. One thing led to another building up to looking at an amazing verse in Revelation 19:10, For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. The testimony of what Jesus has done testifies to what Jesus will do.  

I would encourage you to do this in your own life and understand that each blessing is a testimony of the favor and goodness of God. This leads us to be faithful askers drawing on God’s goodness. No wonder James 4:2 says “You do not have because you do not ask God.”

Grace family let’s ask of God in these days as never before so that God’s goodness can testify to our community and beyond.

• Mexican Fiesta Dinner & Auction—September 9, 5:30-8:30 @ Bomber Mtn. Marietta Wright has donated a number of “Art from the Heart” drawings that will be auctioned. All proceeds will go to the Building Fund. Tickets are available in the Foyer this weekend or the church office during the week. Mission Trip

A team of people from Grace will be going to the Dominican Republic from March 11-18 to build a house for a family in need with Casas por Cristo.  The cost of the trip is $264 per person plus the flight to Cibao International Airport in Santiago, DR.

Meals on Wheels

GF has the privilege of serving our community in September by delivering Meals on Wheels. We are needing volunteers to deliver meals on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. If you can help, please sign up at the Information Center or call the church office at 307-684-7511.
