I have seen a lot of answered prayer in my time, I imagine you have also. I have seen a lot of miracles in my life, I am sure you have also. There is always someone who says, I have never seen a miracle. You woke up this morning, right? You can see and hear today, right? Your momma gave birth to you out of a womb and through a birth canal, right? Okay, don’t tell me you have never seen a miracle.
I am stirred by Mark 6 as Jesus has gone to His hometown after performing many miracles, and the people were amazed at His wisdom as He taught. Then there was a shift, they asked, Wait a minute isn’t this Joseph the carpenter’s son? Mark 6:3 says they were offended by Jesus. There is a shift from wisdom and miracles to offense. (I am excited to teach a series starting on Father’s Day on Refusing Offense. I can’t wait to share with you what God is showing me about this subject).
In Mark 6:6, there is a verse that shakes me! It shakes me because I am afraid it has been true of my life and I am wondering if it might be true of you also. Mark 6:6 He was amazed at the depth of their unbelief! At first, they were amazed at Jesus, now Jesus is amazed by them and that is not a good thing!
I wonder how many times I have amazed Jesus by my levels of unbelief. As a people, we must determine that Jesus is not going to be amazed by us or by our church. It is awesome to be amazed by Him, it is horrible when He is amazed by us! after all our answered prayer, healing, and miracles that we have seen how can we amaze Jesus?
So let’s stop amazing Jesus through our unbelief.
Can’t wait to teach this weekend, but most of all to see you.

Casa por Cristo
We have a team of folks leaving for the Dominican Republic on June 5, to build a house for a family in need. This family’s home has been destroyed by termites, including their beds and dining table. Because of your gracious financial gifts, these items will be replaced. The team is asking that we cover them in prayer throughout this mission. You will find a prayer itinerary on the Information Center to help you pray specifically for them.
